Just last month right before christmas, I had built a new pc, I stored my foxconn away in the original clean box with the celeron dual core.
When I was in the process of rebuilding my old gateway pc I found out the foxconn motherboard had finally died it came on but it did not trigger any other devices and even the monitor did not turn on and no system beeps.
I figured the mobo is dead and so is e1400, thing is I just got the celeron d 331 in the mail today.
Tried it out on the mobo with heatsink fan to see if I could get a respone, nothing......
My question is before I take this celeron dual core to a jewelry store and have them make a chain necklesss out of it, what are the chances that my old celeron dual core could "actually be alive still " ?
