Default Quick question...

If a motherboards specs say it supports DDR 400/333, does that mean it will NOT work with DDR 266?

Okay. That confuses me. Then why don't ALL motherboards that use DDR ram say "Supports 266/333/400 DDR", instead of just particular speeds?

Because 266 is old and not on sale anymore, really.

Oh. So it's got to do with marketing. Makes sense, I guess. Just needed to know. Soon switching to a more current CPU and mobo, and there's probably going to be a period where I need to use my old RAM in a new mobo 'til I get enough money to buy some new RAM.
