quick advice please, is this monitor a good buy for it's reduced price?

ok looking for a monitor for christmas, hopefully under £180, i want it to be 22" wide screen and generally be good quality for my gaming.

As this monitor is usually £217 i assume it's pretty good, are their better monitors under £180 or should i tell my parents to buy this early while it is on this seemingly good deal?

well that's not the same model though, or are you saying all similiar models done by samsung are good?

also is 5ms ok, i play RTS games usually, i guess it is i mean my current one is 16ms and tbh i dont notice anything slow although i could just be used to it.

Anyways, some people will say 5ms is too much and you should get something around 2 or 3ms but mine is 6ms and there isn't a game or program i've had issues with. I run it in full HD and not a hickup....so 5ms is fine IMO.

edit: as for price, it sells for $270 canadian. around here..not sure if that helps you though.

That monitor is amazing, I love mine soooo much. I paid over $300 as well and worth every penny.

I have a SyncMaster T220 and it's amazing :] Stand is a little wobbly but otherwise I would recommend it to anyone that has eyes
