Hey guys, first time newby poster here!
Got a question if any of you guys can help me with.
My friend just gave me a 9500 nvidia GT card. Currently my PC is using just a stock integrated graphics chip. My PC is this:
Amazon.com: HP Pavilion a6803w-b - Tower - 1 x Athlon X2 4850e / 2.5 GHz - RAM 3 GB - HDD 1 x 500 GB - DVD?RW (?R DL) / DVD-RAM - GF 6150 SE - Mdm - Vista Home Premium - Monitor : 20" Widescreen TFT ( HP 2009m ): Computer & Accessories
Basically what I'm wondering is if I need a new PSU for the card? The card says a minimum 350W to run, and my PC's psu is only 300W. My friend said it should still work fine even though its 50w under. Is that true? Will I be able to use it without buying a new PSU?
Thanks!
