Hey all,

I am back from school and I brought my comp home. Unfortunately I left my monitor power cord w/ module in Pittsburgh. So, I wanted to buy another one. After getting the runaround with HP, I thought I'd come here to get a straight answer.

My monitor is an HP f1703 (replaced after blackout incident) Will this module work?

Newegg.com - Rosewill CP1250-60W 60W AC Adapter for LCD monitor - Retail

And then will any standard power cord work with it. I really don't want to pay HP 60 dollars for a 20 dollar part. Also, if anyone knows a brick and mortar store that would sell parts like this that would be great. Baltimore area.

Thanks in advance.

Well, I looked the monitor up on HP's site...and it said it consumes less than 50W when in use. So that cord should work for you =). Then I'm sure somehwere like a RadioShack or something like that has the other half of the cord you need (just look at what kind of connection the brick has).
