Default Question about RAM

I have two Kingston Hyper X Blue Ram modules. One is 2GB CL9 1600 the other is 4 GB CL10 1600. My questions are will the CL affect my RAMs performance because they are not matched. What does CL stand for? And what about memory timings?

Default Re: Question about RAM

Timings don't really mean much anymore. The 2GB stick will default to the lower timings of the 4GB stick. You will not notice a difference in performance.
