Default quality of S-video -> RF/Composite adapters

Well i've finally gotten everything i need for my new computer, and i took a look at the mobo that was suggested to me here and realized that the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D doesnt have an onboard VGA out, only PS/2. However, the video card im going to get (7800 GT) has 2 DVI + VGA adapters and an S-video.

Thing is that I wont have this card cor atleast 1 week after my pc is up and running and i was considering getting a S-video to composite/rf adapter. I assume there is a loss of quality with this but exactly how much? (got a 19" flat PANEL tv)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black
Radeon HD 5770
4GB DDR3 1600
1 WD 230GB, 2 WD Cavier 80GB

bigtime loss in quality. I tried hooking my computer to the TV via RCA cables, and the thing was so fuzzy I couldn't read the 'Start' down in my taskbar. It was terrible.
