I'm looking for a new PSU for a build I'm gonna be doing and the PSU is the only part of a computer that I don't understand well enough to make a good decision on. Like do I need dual +12v? What's the max wattage I'll need. Not planning on SLI, but may want to get another HD in future, and may get another CD Burner.

Specs on the rest of the build so far...

MSI 945P Neo2-F (24-Pin)
Pentium D 820 (I wanted an X2 but got a good deal on this)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
evga 7800GT
ASUS 16x DVD burner
WD 250 GB Caviar
Audigy 2
About 4 case fans (3 80mm and 1 120mm)
2GB DC kit GSkill RAM

Also have a lighted IDE cable that runs off of a 4-pin molex, and may get a cathode tube as well. That's about all I can come up with that'll draw off the PSU. Any suggestions?

Dual Rails is more stable then single rail. You would need at least 550 watts, keeping in mind, you want room for upgrading.

I would go for the 550 watt Antec Truecontrol.

i was wondering if this PSU was any good also do you think 600W is enough

is it a OCZ PowerStream OCZ600ADJSLI - 600W SLI Power Supply
