Current specs:

MB: MSI 770-G45 AM3
CPU: Athlon II X3 2.7Ghz
RAM: OCZ Gold 2GB ddr3
Graphics Card: HIS Radeon 5770 HD 1GB 128 Bit
OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64 Bit
Power supply: OCZ 500W
Case: APEX Vortex 3620 Mid-tower

So I'm currently in the process of upgrading my GPU and Ram and bought a Radeon 7870 and 8Gb's of ddr3. I didn't think I would need a new PSU but using this ASUS PSU calculator on their website they estimated that I need like 550W+ So being that I have about $100 or so to spend I thought I'd just upgrade it as well.

So looking for suggestions on good PSU's around the $100 range can go a bit higher $130 if it's really worth it. 600W-750W is what I'm interested in. Thanks.

Oh with DVD/CD Combo and CPU fan it showed 550W. But anyways yeah I saw this one seemed like a good deal, so CORSAIR would be the best for the price?

Just an estimate from Asus. CPU takes like 95w and the card itself is less than 200w. The rest of the system isn't relevant since those 2 are the power hogs.

That's pretty much the best PSU you can buy yea.
