I was planning on getting a GS800 for the following build:

Main:

Gigabyte Z68 Mobo
2500k (OC'ed to 4.6)
Sparkle Caliber x560 TI
8gb DDR3 1600
Kaze Scythe Master Fan controller
Soundcard
PCI wifi card
1x 7200RPM 1TB HDD
2x 80gb Intel 320 series SSD

A couple of Cold ray cathodes, inverters, USB items, mouse, keyboard, etc...

Cooling:
Dual loop
Pump - MCP355

I have a friend who works at bestbuy and could get me a GS700 for $45 less than what I could get for an GS800

I was wondering if 700W would be plenty of power for this build. Im not looking to upgrade the PC for a few years anyways so overhead isnt really a big deal. Would it be safer to get the 800? (Money is slightly important to me :D )

Thanks!

You can run that system with a quality 550W. 700W would be overkill but for a discount, why not?

Do you know the build quality on the GS series? I know corsair overall has great products, but on PSU's ive only heard things about TX and HX. I was thinking that my build would be around 600-650W at full load... 200 for the cpu, 300 for gfx, and then 200 for all the other periphrials... some PSU calculators say 615W but I don't trust them very much
