This PSU:
Newegg.com - XCLIO STABLEPOWER 500W ATX 500W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, TUV, CB, VDE, FIMKO, DEMKO, NEMKO, SEMKO - Retail
For a machine with the following specs:
CPU: Pentium E2140 1.6Ghz
RAM: 2GB DDR2 667
1 DVD Burner
1 160GB WD 7200rpm hd
onboard graphics
stock cpu cooler
no extra fans/expansion cards taking up power.
Newegg's power supply calculator only says I need 260 watts, but I don't know what amps it's expecting on the 12v rail(s). Will this power supply be "pushing it" if I were to add a second HD? I see it has 18Amps on the 12v rails, but I don't know if thats good or bad. Also I don't want to buy a PSU that has a rebate. Comments/suggestions? Thanks in advance.
