Default Proud Build.

Im pretty proud of whipping up this new build for the non-overclocker in Australia. I mention Australia becuase there isnt a shop like NewEgg around here or anything....

AMD Athlon x2 5000 (Got this for a bargain...)
2Gigs 800mhz Apacer (They seriosuly need some better brands at my corner shop... lol)
160gb Seagate Sata HDD. (Very cheap round here.)
7600GS 512mb (Low end but still capable video card.)
550w PSU with Case. (I guess i cheapened out abit here so dont say anything about that... lol.)
ASUS M2N-X AM2 NVIDIA nForce 520 Mobo.

Total Price: $380 AUSTRALIAN.

I upgraded him from an old 1.4ghz P4 with 512mb Ram and a 16mb Video Card. He was amazed at the price and he is happy with a 7600GS until the 9 series nvidias come out and thats when he needs to badly upgrade his PSU. (From a 7600GS to a 9800GTX... lol!)

yeah, Australian prices are a kick in the nuts. It's very hard to build something when you're used to North American prices. Looks like a decent build for the price.

How much would that be in American dollars, because that's a pretty nice budget build.

no way, all that for $337 that's really nice. That pc could even handle vista well too for such a low price.
