muffin man, where do we look to learn about the max tdp for this board?
ZOTAC GF8200-A-E AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

no, that mobo you linked is the wrong mobo.

the one he has is mobo model GF8200-D-E, the one you linked is GF8200-A-E

this one (edit: wtf... the link shows the wrong model [A-E], but when i click it, it changes to the right one [D-E]...)
ZOTAC GF8200-A-E AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

but now that i look it over again, its not clear whether it only supports 65w tdp cpus or higher.

in the "specefications" tab, theres a pdf file link that says it only supports cpus with a max tdp of 65w or less
http://www.zotacusa.com/specsheet/GeForce_8200-Value_v1.pdf

but on the "support/download" tab, all the way at the bottom theres a link that lists all the cpus that have been tested with the mobo, and it lists cpus with tdps higher than 65w's.

thats why im unsure now.

thanks for the reply. I remember seeing the pdf.file link but was I being lazy :silly:.
