Default Processor compatible with motherboard

Hi,
Is this motherboard: Newegg.com - ZOTAC GF8200-D-E AM2+/AM3 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards

Compatible with this processor: Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X3 425 Rana 2.7GHz 3 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

I have that motherboard and I am going to upgrade my processor. Does the motherboard support 95 watt processors?

no. that mobo only supports cpus with a max tdp of 65w.

im assuming that you dont have much to spend on a new cpu, so this is probably your next best bet.

muffin man, where do we look to learn about the max tdp for this board?
ZOTAC GF8200-A-E AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

I see they mention it in here, but where can data sheets be found?
Mini-ITX Motherboard: Zotac GeForce 8200 ITX WiFi (Socket AM2+) - Review Tom's Hardware : Mini-ITX: Two Cases And Four Motherboards Compared

cpu's tested

^ I wouldn't trust this, as they are showing up to 125w cpu's.

no, that mobo you linked is the wrong mobo.

the one he has is mobo model GF8200-D-E, the one you linked is GF8200-A-E

this one (edit: wtf... the link shows the wrong model [A-E], but when i click it, it changes to the right one [D-E]...)
ZOTAC GF8200-A-E AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

but now that i look it over again, its not clear whether it only supports 65w tdp cpus or higher.

in the "specefications" tab, theres a pdf file link that says it only supports cpus with a max tdp of 65w or less
http://www.zotacusa.com/specsheet/Ge...0-Value_v1.pdf

but on the "support/download" tab, all the way at the bottom theres a link that lists all the cpus that have been tested with the mobo, and it lists cpus with tdps higher than 65w's.
http://downloads.zotac.com/mediadrivers/mb/cpu/ae7s.txt

thats why im unsure now.
