Default which processor is better?

ive got a pentium d 820 2.8 and a pentium 4 650 3.4 lying around. i was wondering which of the two would be better for gaming and web surfin?


Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz
ASUS P5N32-E SLI Motherboard
2X Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD
2X Corsair XMS2 1GB PC 6400 DDR2 800MHz RAM
2x Philips 22" 202P73

Pentium D is dual core, Pentium 4 is not. The Pentium D would be better.
