Problems putting in the hard drive

Me and my friend are trying to build a computer, but the hard drive won't go in the bay properly.

Is it, one of those cases, that are tool-less? If it is, then I would just remove the tool-less brackets, and use screws.

See those white brackets, on the drive bays? Those are tool-less brackets. But can you describe, a little more, of how the hard drive, won't fit in the bay. You sure, you're putting it, in the 3.5" drive bays?

We have alum. but not any plastic or something like that on the bay, however plastic things came with the case for use on the bay. I think what we have is tool-less though I'm not completly certin. Anyway, no holes will line up on our case, so we can't screw anything in. We were able to fit the hard drive in, but nothing would keep it secure.
