Default Problems getting the onboard sound working...

So I finished building my computer and everything... reformatted my current harddrive and installed the 64-bit version of Windows XP. Basically, my mother board (MSI K8N Neo4-F) threw a hissy fit about the 64bit version for some reason. I tried putting the driver disk thing in, but it says it's not compatible with my OS.
All-in-all, I got everything working flawlessly. But I can't seem to get the onboard sound working. I do have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card I plan on using, but I want to get the onboard sound working properly first.
All the cables are hooked up properly inside the computer... So I'm not quite sure why it won't work...

System:
Opteron 165
MSI K8N Neo4-F
1 GB Patriot RAM
eVGa 6800 GS

Scroll down to the Realtek ALC Series AC'97 Audio Drivers and select 64 bit.

download the drivers from ryan's link. the thing is the majority of drivers are 32 bit and WILL NOT work in x64 windows.
