I bought this computer near christmas:
Power source Topower real 520 W.
Mother Asus Crosshair
Processor Athlon X2 4000+
Video Card Geforce 7600 gt Sentey
RAM Gskill 800 2 GB
HD x2 Seagate 320 GB SATA II 16 MB NCQ
Floppy
RW-DVD Pioneer 111 D
DVD Asus 16X
A few days ago i was playing with the Kega Emulator. The system freezed. Thinking it was a
Windows crash, I switched off the pc. The next morning when I tried to power up the pc, it
switched on and then switched off after a few seconds. No video in this time. The only help
to describe the problem was the Crosshair LCD poster: "CPU INIT". So I tried the following
procedures: cleared the CMOS. Disconect all pc parts and mount them again. Changed the 7600
for a pci SIS. Inverted the order of the RAM modules. Bought a second processor (Sempron
2800+). Disconected the hard disk and the optical drives. All with the same results
described above.
Can you help me, please.
Thank you very much.
Whipon.
