Is socket 940 am2?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1142294700721

I am thinking about getting that liquid cooling for my third build in my sig. I just need to know if socket 940 is am2?

Also if theres a leak sometime will that mess up the computer?

Oh and is it just a cpu liquid cooler? I want fans and a gpu liquid cooler.

It's only a CPU cooler. Also I would suggest petra's water cooling kits, instead:

Yes, socket 940 is AM2, and theres also another socket 940 that are server processors. They have the same number of pins but both have their pins located in different places.

I don't think you need that water cooling for the graphic card. A Zalman VF900 would do just fine. And from what I hear, it's almost if not, dead silent.

I'm not sure, I don't think so though. Heres a nice video review on it too:
