I bought a Laptop from dell about 6 months ago and it came with a printer. I was wondering if I had to buy ink from dell or if I could just take the cartridges to best buy or office depot or something and get them replaced?

im almost 100% sure you could buy them from a retail store. it would be absolutely rediculous if you have to call dell everytime you need ink. but ive never owned a dell printer so i cant be sure

Bring the cartridge into the store with you. That dell printer is actually a Lexmark printer with a dell tag.

really?? i never knew that.. ill add it to my dell hating list........................

Reasons i hate dell # 1231 ->>>>> they dont make there own printers.. they just take lexmarks and put a dell logo on it

You can buy refill kits. It's a lot cheaper, but it voids your warranty on the printer.
