Power Supply question.. (Corsair 430W)

Hey, just wondering if this power supply would work with a motherboard that has a 4 pin connection near the Processor thanks!

Those plugs come apart. Well 90% of psu 8 pins unsnap to form 4 pins.

Mid me askling what youre powering? The 430 is on the weak end.

I have my power hungry Fermi in a 4pin setup so I wouldn't judge a book by its cover. Then again, I have a 550w PSU powering it too. Honestly, I would trust the 430w Corsair over the 550w I have.

The 4 pin runs the cpu. An overclocked i7 can run on a 4 pin just fine.

Despite that, the 430 has **** for Amps, and can easily be under powered for a moderate build.

Exactly. An i7 can run on 4-pin, but not recommended.
