Default power supply question

can i plug a video card that requires 350watt power supply into a 200watt power supply?

Well, you will probably damage the video card, but i cant see why not =P

okie i have a compaq presario S3200NX that i bought 2yrs ago. thrusday i bought the 6600GT evga card without checking the watt required (stupid me). if i buy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817190005 will everything still work? http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...name=c00001661 for my comps specifications. ram is at 756

I would go for a 'dual rail' power supply. I think its better to spend the extra $$$ especially if you decide to up-grade.
These are 'dual rail 12volt' p/s that are less than $100.
