Default Power Supply

jus 2 days ago my power supply fried on me.

my computer spes are as follows:

P4 3.0ghz
Asus P4C800-E Dlx
1.5 gb ram
160gb hard drive
ATI X800 pro

i need to know what is the best power supply for always on usage for my computer.

the BEST, or one that will work just fine. Is budget an issue?

If you wan't to spend $100 on a power supply go ahead, I can't stop you. If you want a $100 power supply here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817194003

It's got total 44Amps on the dual 12V rail so I think just maybe you should be ok considering this power supply is complete overkill for your computer. You could probably even run you system on a cheaper psu than I reccomended. But since I know nothing, go ahead and blow your money.

Im not saying the Enemrax liberty is a bad PSU, Cause it isn't but the Voltages are weaker due to the modular cableing.

If I had 100$ To spend on a PSU I would buy this one.

I'd only go with PC Power and Cooling, Antec or OCZ for a PSU.
