No, there are many different standards and models, you need to know your exact motherboard model and video card model along with how many cd-roms, harddrive and additonal add on cards you have to best be able to choose a power supply.
Its alot easier now a days because almost any motherboard within the last 5 years uses the same power supply standard.
You will most likely need a power supply with at least a 20/24 main connector, a 4 pin or 8 pin motherboard connector, at least 4-5 molex or SATA connectors and with at least 1 6 Pin PCIE connector, (Some video cards need 2 6 pin and some need 1 8 pin and 1 6 pin)
Just ask before purchasing if you are unsure.
