Power Problems

Hi guys, built/bought a new PC a few days ago, went to turn it on the first time, and the LED power light at the front that shows the power as being off or on flashed on, but then nothing happens?

The PC's power deoesn't seem to work, there is obviously power there because the LED light flashes but then turns off and nothing happend.

Could any of you guys help ASAP, its probably a really silly problem.

do you mean the light actually flashes, then turns off or that it turns on then off?

have u made sure you hooked everything in properly and what are your pc specs..? what psu u got?
