Changed my Windows XP Home Sp1 to Windows XP Home SP2 and now after many problems I have finally got is set up. However I have inherited a small but annoying issue - my computer will not power down. It goes through the motion of turning off/saving settings the 'hangs' at preparing to shut down.I then have to use the on/off switch to turn it off.
All advice I have received have suggested I muck around with the registry which I not too happy to try. Has anyone a simpler or easier solution which I could try - I am only at the crawling stage in my computer development [pretty dumb actually]
