Can you screenshot and post your "system information" just to make sure. It seems pretty high for 8GB RAM

Clearly he doesn't.

OP that's your problem, only 4GB of RAM means Windows 8 is going to use a huge hunk of it. You don't have anything sucking your RAM besides regular system usage. When you use any program ontop of Windows it's going to eat up almost all 4GB each time.

SHow us a screenshot of the memory tab in CPU-Z.

^ Top right corner shows 8GB, and "In Use" + "Available" = ~8.
