I'm planning to build a computer in the next month or so, and it would be used for everyday school stuff, some multimedia (music, dvd burning, etc) and some moderate gameplay such as RTS games and games like Medal of Honor, etc. I want this to be upgradeable for the future also, and i don't think i'll be OCing. I'm trying to stay around $1400-1500 including mouse, keyboard, and software.

Antec Sonata II
or Cooler Master Centurion 5

Power Supply (If i get the coolermaster case):

Dont waste your money on McAfee virus protection and Office. Get AVG free (which works much better than McAfee) and OpenOffice.

-Do you really need a sound card? Onboard is just fine for most.

I've used AVG before, and i guess its ok, so good point lol. i'll use zone alarm too. considering i'm only using two speakers, yeah, onboard should be ok. i can always turn it off later on. thanks for the input.
