My friend is going away on holiday and thinking to phone home from abroad using a laptop. The thing is there are no phone sockets where he is going, but there should be some wireless facility or hotspots.
What I am wondering is are there any laptops that make it easier to phone abroad and are wireless enabled? I ve heard of skype allowing someone to phone abroad, but that might be only releated to the cost of calls rather than the facility or service provided.
As a last note, what things should my friend consider when going abroad and plans to phone from where he is?
