Ok, I bought Battlefield 2 a while ago and found out after I installed it that a Radeon 9250 wont run it (I even tried the omega drivers) Nothing at all worked for it so now I'm considering getting alot of new stuff for my pc that will hopefully let me run the game on atleast medium settings. Here is a list of things I am going to buy:

1. Video Card - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1358168&CatId=0

2. Motherboard and Processor - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...M9-32009&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEM1174IS

3. Power Supply Unit - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182006

4. I'm going to keep my 512 MB of DDR ram for now and my processor fan from my old celeron 2.4 GHz processor

Please tell me how well this would run the game if you know, Thanks

Not good that's all I can tell you, but at least you can run it.

6600 + 512MB of ram + 3200+ = Low settings in BF2

I don't thinik you can use your intel cpu fan on a s939 AMD.

Get at least 1GB of ram and a 7600GT.

I moved this to the Building, Buying, Upgrading section for you as it is more suited there:D

Give us a budget...realistically...i wouldnt rec getting anything less than AM2 system, dual core 3800 and a 7600gt...its just not worth dumpin money into a system thats already out of date and not capable of handling games like BF2...

Cheers.

your Radeon 9250 wont run it? im on P4 3.02ghz, 1gig ram, BFG GeForce FX5500oc and i can run it on lowish settings just fine.

I have radeon 9250 PCI not AGP, thats why it won't work... Omega drivers won't work, already tried it.
