Default Pentium D 820 or 915

hey I was wondering if I should get a Pentium D 820 or a 915. I multi
task a lot and I play games a little bit. I'm not looking for the best CPU just one that I can use for a year or two until I can buy a Core 2 duo I don't want to spend more than $200 and I'm buying a new motherboard with this.
my current specks are:
CPU: Celeron 325 2.56 GHZ, 256K L2 cache, 512 MD FSB
Mother Board: asrock P4VM8
RAM: ddr 333 1GB
Video card: GEforce 6600

Why not get an e6300... it completely destroys both of them..?

He has a budget of $200. But if I were him, I would save up for an e6300 and a good budget board.

I agree... save your money for a little bit, and go with the E6300. It has better performance per watt than the D's, and uses MUCH less power, which means saving money on electric bill (not a lot at once, it is over time), and also it generates less heat.
