Pentium 3 Computer, Upgrade Harddrive Questions

I have a 5-7 year old Pentium 3 computer sitting on my basement floor turned on almost 24-7. I can probably use it as a network server. The problem is that it only has a 40 gb harddrive and USB 1.0 ports. I need to upgrade these two. Any tips? Can I put any harddrive on it? It currently says "DMA" harddrive or soemthing like that.

How easy is it to install harddrives? Do I just open up the cmoptuer, remove the harddrive then put the new one? Or does the product include instructions on how to do so?
