I have a pentium 2 200mhz. It wont let me put windows xp in it
I do have a pentium 11 466 mhz and i think a 350 mhz Will any of them work in that slot It looks like the bios has been upgraded

200MHz is too slow for XP. 233MHz is the bare minimum. I would shiver at the thought of running it in a 233MHz system. 1GHz is the smallest I would go for XP. Try windows 2000.

If i put a 350 or 450 cpu Would that work the bios looks upgraded i can put a 20 gb hardrive in it and it works at least it looks like a 20 gb unless i read it wrong

If you want to know if you can run XP on a 350 or 400mhz machine, yes, but it'll lag terribly. I don't recommend running XP on a proc slower than about 700mhz. You are probably better off with 2000 or 98 (or there's always Linux).

for a 200mhz system...i assume you don't have more then 256meg ram...man that would kill...run windows 95 or 98 for best perfomance
