I'm pondering to get a striker board.

And what are PCI Express 1 slots for?

See my dilemma is..

I plan on getting two 8800 GTX or R600s

Getting an Exhaust blower

A sound Card

A TV tuner
and a Raid controller

Will this fit?

I'm assuming PCI-E 1 is compatible / the same as PCI slots.

Help. When you can.

2xpci-express at x16 each = 8800gtx's or r600's
tv turner = pci
raid controller= pci or pci x1
sound card= pci

so you could get a pci x1 raid controller and use the 2 pci slots for the tv turner and sound card.

oh and...are raid controllers useful for Raptors?
I'm only getting one because it comes iwth the mobo.

Not if you only get one raptor.

In a nutshell, a raid controller is for combining two hd's into one.

It could be useful for only one drive if the mobo's sata only supports 150 speeds instead of 3.0gb/s, but dont worry too much about that.
