Default Pci?

Ok so ive been using AGP graphics cards all the time but i want to use a pci one

Nvidia 7900 GT or GTX

Anyway it says its a PCI card so i was wondering if my board had any PCI - compatible slot on it

ASUS A8N-VM for AMD Socket 939

Board above.

any help would be appreciated ( tell me if im being a dumbass )

It's a PCI-e (express) slot, and yes you have one. either one of those cards would work very well with today's games and future ones to come. You might even look at the 7900GS as well...

True. Make sure your motherboard has a Pci Express x16 slot or you wont be getting much from your video card.
