Ok I'm working on doing an overhaul on my system right now and Trying to keep the bill under $500 this is what i have so far:
Intel DG965WH M/B
Specs: http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/DG965WH/index.htm
Intel P4 541 3.2Ghz Processor
& a Seagate 120gb 7200RPM SATA HDD
Now I am looking at bumping up my memory to 2GB with these kingston sticks:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820134384
I'm almost positive these will work with this board but i want to be a 100% positive. Can any of you verify this for me?
The rest of the parts I'm looking at adding are
Radeon X1650Pro 512MB Video Card
New fan for processor and a 480W PS.
Any info for this build would be great. I can put together a PC with no problem but i do question myself alot when buying the parts and trying to make sure on compatibility.
P.S. one last thing. With what I am trying to run should I consider a larger power supply or should a 480W work?
Thanks for your info.
