Those components will do just fine for general usage. But I don't think the power supply should be the cheapest component on that lists, as it's the most important part. So I'd suggest this one instead:
Antec TruePower Trio 430W PSU - With 3x 12v Rails 120mm Fan

I use the 600W version of that PSU and have never had a single problem with it.
To keep cost down I probs will be going for the 450W one but thanks very much for the suggestion

or instead of the PSU i could get summin like a 3600+ X2

My First Piece of Advice: Follow B1gapl's advice over mine

If he says its a bad Psu, I wouldn't buy it.

Its not the power that's the issue.

Cheap PSUs can take out the entire system.

That's REALLY expensive for such a simple system...

This prebuilt is better by a lot for $500:

Your TigerDirect.com Shopping Cart

Barebone that beats it for $250:

MachSpeed MSNV-939 Socket 939 Barebone Kit AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ OEM 200GB IDE HDD 1GB DDR PC3200 CPU Fan ATX Mid-Tower Case with a 450 Watt Power Supply at TigerDirect.com

A breakdown of that barebone for about the same price seperately, in case you don't need all the parts, I also added in a 320gb HD. Am not sure how good the PSU is. I don't know much about PSUs.

Actually, the $500 system does have Windows Vista Premium.

I wasn't advocating buying a pre-built system, just trying to point out the one you laid out seems pretty overpriced.

Nothing wrong with building a lower end system, I just wouldn't pay that much for a lower end system, when I can get a better one cheaper.

Possibly, but I hope for his sake its overpriced, as that is over twice what I'd pay for that build...
