Default PC Fans - Which way round?

Hello, i have bought a few 12cm blue led fans into my system, but i dont know which way round to install them to get the best cooling? Is it the side where it blows more air INTO the computer or the side where it blows more air OUT of the computer? does it matter?

Generally you want your front fans blowing in, your rear fan blowing out, your side fans blowing in, and the top fans blowing out. Really though, it depends on the case and fan mounting situation.

Ok well i got 1 fan on the front, 1 on the back and 2 on top. No fans on the side because thats where the air is being blown out of my graphics card.
If i got no side fans, should i make the top fans blow in so that the air can come out the side? or just do what you said

How many front fan spots do you have? Rather, what case do you have?

I would leave the top 2 exhaust, the front intake, and the rear exhaust.

Ah yea I'd just leave the front intake, top two exhaust, and the rear exhaust.

Whenever possible I would upgrade the front fan for higher airflow.
