Default PC Build

My brother is thinking of building a pc and hes budget is £500. He is mainly going to be using it for minecraft.

here are the parts
http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...222abbebe.html

2nd Generation Intel® Core

XFX ATI Radeon HD 6770 1024MB GDDR5 | HD-677X-ZNLC

www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/memory-pc/ddr3-pc3-10666/1333mhz/f3-10666cl9d-8gbrl.html]G.Skill

ASRock Z68 Pro3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) Motherboard | Z68 Pro3

Novatech Shadow Midi Tower Case With 500w PSU & Blue LED Fan - Black | Shadow - Black

http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...d3200bekt.html

any suggestions on better or equal parts for roughly the same price or anywhere where i can downgrade (possibly the RAM) to save money and still run minecraft maxed out easily. also is all of this compatible.

Thanks in advance

First of all, you've put a laptop hard drive in there (2.5"). You want a 3.5" one.

Second, I'll link you to the parts I recommend on my favourite site I'll edit this post with the links when I'm done.

CPU+Mobo https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Sho...ductId=1647593

GPU https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Sho...ductId=1647701

Case+PSU https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Sho...ductId=1647598

RAM https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Sho...ductId=1647794

HDD https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/sho...oductid=567855

ODD https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/sho...ductid=1512945

Total inc. VAT and shipping:
£497.19

4GB of RAM is more than plenty for Minecraft
What are you doing about an OS? Chances are you'll want Windows; do you have a copy or will you need to get one?

You can use the same disc however many times you like, however the license key can be active on one system at a time. A Retail key can be used on more than one system but not at the same time - if you want to use it on a system you need to remove it from the previous system. OEM keys can only ever be used on a single system.
There are several easy ways around these restrictions, however it would against the forum rules to help you in that.
