Exclamation PC 3200 RAM

Can you use PC3200 ram along with PC2700?
Will this make your system run unstable?
Or will the system run at the speed of the 2700?
I have 512 MB of PC3200 RAM on my PC and have an extra stick of PC2700 256MB and was wondering if it would be worth adding?

It would run at 2700, but some brands dont like to work together because of different timings. It would be worth it, as you would be doubling the amount of memory in your system.
