Default PATA to SATA cord ?

Is there a Pata to SATA cord ?

i need to connect my hard drive wich has a pata output but i need to connect it to my motherboard which has SATA

They make ATA to SATA adapters. It's a little board.

They make many devices to do this such as this one.
Newegg.com - Vantec IDE to SATA Converter - Model CB-IS100

I personally use this one.
Newegg.com - Vantec Single Port SATA to IDE Converter - Model CB-SP100

Or you could go this route.
Newegg.com - SABRENT USB-DSC5 Serial ATA (SATA) or IDE 2.5" and 3.5" to USB 2.0 Cable Converter Adapter
