****, was the tray inside of your computer, or was it already attached to your HDD, if it was attached the only cure I know of is to RMA it, other then that unsure.

the thing i broke was the hagrd drive caddy. i tried to stick in the hard drive with out the caddy and it works. is it safe to use it without a caddy?

the caddy was inside the computer, attached to the hard drive.

how did it break, i mean it looks like you should just be able to screw it back together unless you pulled it apart instead of unscrewing it.

EDIT: never mind it ended my bad, im looking around for another one.
