p4 640 3.2 ghz OC question

anyone know what these pentiums (i know were def all not pentium fans) can over clock to?

I'm not real sure but my cpu has 2 prescott cores, and I can overclock my PD 2.8GHz up to 3.3GHz without watercooling, but I did have to buy a kick *** heatsink. And that is a prescott core in the 640.

You could get it to about 3.5-3.6 with your stock cooling however I would recommend an aftermarket heatsink and fan.

i can oc my p4 630 3.0 to 3.4 with stock cooling however it gets a bit high on full load so i would say atleast a decent heatsink and 3.6

i say about 3.6 as well. if you went for some extreme cooling you could probably get past 4.0ghz but it wouldn't be worth it.
