Default optical drive upgrade

Is there a site where I can find out what's compatible with my laptop? I want to upgrade the optical drive on my Clevo notebook and support just isn't replying to my emails.

List your make and model, if you don't mind.

Or, to do what i would do, go to your manufacturer's site, download the manual, find out what make of optical drive is in it, then Google for one.

My notebook is a Clevo M400G.

I don't need to download the manual. I have a physical version and it doesn't list compatible drives. The one I have (according to Device Manager) is a TSSTcorp TS-L532A CD/DVD burner. But obviously I don't want to be limited to buying exactly the same model, hence my search for a list of compatible drives.

From what I could find, the drives on both links are the same dimensions as yours. The power cables and data cables are all standardized.
