Default Onboard audio VS SB Live! 24

I'm buying a new comp with Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard which includes ADI® AD2000B 8-ch audio on it.
In my old comp I was Using Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24bit 7.1 (based on audigy2 processor with EAX 3).

Is my old Live! eax3 card will be better for gaming than the "new" ADI® AD2000B on a p6t deluxe board???

Try both and see which you like better. The SB live should be a bit better but I am very happy with the onboard sound on the p6t deluxe V2. Keep in mind that sound quality is not of the utmost priority for me.

Does the AD2000B onboard audio support EAX, if it does, then, which version???

Here is what I found with a bit of googling.

while ADI 2000B even supports EAX 4.0

This article he compares it to the Audigy 2ZS
TweakGuides.com - Hardware Confusion 2009

Again when you get the board try the onboard. Then try your old card and see which you like best. Worst case you go buy a new sound card for it.

Well, thanks, nice articles. I thought only SupremeFX version of AD2000B support EAX 4.0. While my Live! 24 bit is EAX 3.0.

So I think I'll break my tradition ant for the first time use an integrated audio.
