Mobo: get Gigabyte P35DS3R.
PSU: PCP&P 610W.
HARD DISK: 500GB Samsung spinpoint
COOLER: Thermalright utra 120 eXtreme (need to buy seperate 120MM fan)

will a 10k rpm hd make a difference over a 7200 with my os on it? and the reviews on that mobo make me cautious about it. sorry for being a pain, its just a lot of money and i want to run into as few problems as possible.

Are you talking about the P35-DS3R? Where are you reading that kind of review? A majority of this forum, is using the DS3R. But the Abit IP35 Pro is a really good motherboard too. I haven't heard bad things about it.

gonna stick with the abit mobo, switched to the pc power psu, and gonna get the go proc. thanks a lot guys, you've helped a lot
