I bought a Dell E1705. It's an amazing laptop and i got it with a 7900gs video card. I had kind of remorse when I saw how big it was. I wanted a laptop to take to school. I wanted to return it and get a desktop and a small laptop to take to school. But it weighed out the options, I payed so little for the E1705 I would only be saving about 100 dollars if i built a desktop with the same specs, not considering the hd space.. And I like the fact that I can carry my laptop around whenever I want.
So what i want to know is a really cheap under 300 dollar laptop that is really good for notetaking. Somewhere less than 13 inches.
What specs should I be looking for, or are there any selling really cheap ones like that. Used and really good battery life.
