i have an pentium 4 2.4 northwood cpu that is using a ecs micro atx mobo. i have gotten fed up with all sorts of crashes and problems that have plagued this unit since my wife bought it from fry's electronics. ( it was their house special ). i want to replace the motherboard to see if that is the source of the problems. is there a code or secret to tell which micro atx mobo is compatible with the northwood cpu? there seems to be a very fine line in the difference between the northwood and prescott. thanks for any replies.
