Case – TT Tsunami - $115.

Processor – Intel C2D E6300 - $193.

Memory – 2 x 1GB OCZ Gold - $200.

Videocard – eVGA GeForce 7900GT KO Superclocked - $290.

Hard Drive – 250GB Seagate Barracuda - $80.

Power Supply – 450W Forton PSU - $52.

Sound Card – CSB Live! - $26.

Optical Drive – Samsung DVD burner - $33.

Cooling – Zalman 9500 - $63.

Total = $1205.

what do you think? give me your suggestions and comments

Looks good to me. The sound card is a waste of money, the onboard sound is just as good as an sblive.

That's the CPU heatsink I have, and the video card I have, and the motherboard I have, works good. I just wish my IDE controller wasn't non-standard. Linux can't see my cd-rom.

I might have to switch motherboards.

450W will run that just fine.

Agree with The General, don't bother with the sound card... are you going to use the items from anohter machine? Keyboard/mouse/monitor/speakers, etc... What about an OS? I'm assumgin you have one as well...

I recommend a larger hard drive to accomodate the large amount of memory.

Don't forget to add about $80 for XP
