Default Noob to speakers

Why is this being sold at 15 bucks? When the power output is 1000+

probably a typo or a glitched script..........

that which seems too good to be true probably isn't
but buy any way because retailers can be forced to honour an advertised price unless a disclaimer explicitly states that they will not honour one

I can guarentee they will be ****. It is peak power output and not the maintained output. So it can make 1200w output momantarily with terrible distortion but will not be as good as a decent set at £800

Its either a typo or cheap PS that will die out or fry the rest of your system within a week.

As Trifid said it's peak power usually refferd to as PMPO,PMPO stands for "Peak Music Power Output" or "Peak Momentary Power Output". Notice the word peak. The vendor of the product calculates PMPO based on the maximum power output of the device under perfect conditions and 100% efficiency. These conditions are impossible to obtain, and no device can sustain the PMPO power for any significant length of time without being ruined. The PMPO power relies on the fact that amplifiers can provide short bursts (basically on the order of milliseconds) of very high power. Over time, these short bursts when averaged with the lower output powers, gives the real value.

The speakers are $15, and they're 16 watts.
